This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Brian Holod. Brian was born in Kennedy Township, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, to David and Joyce Holod, on October 27, 1971, and he suddenly passed away at his home in North Ridgeville, Ohio on January 1, 2006 at the age of 34.
It's with a heavy heart we regret to inform you that we have no choice but to CANCEL the 5th Annual Brian Holod Memorial Golf Outing due to lack of participation. Thanks to those who helped promote the event and those who did register. -9/25/10

Brian was loved by all who knew him. He had a beautiful smile, warm and caring ways, a great personality and keen sense of humor. We were gifted by God to have Brian be such a special part of our lives. We will remember Brian, our "shining star", forever as a very special son, brother, friend, co-worker and physician.
Brian made a difference in so many lives, and this quote by Pericles seems appropriate: "WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND IS NOT WHAT IS ENGRAVED IN STONE MONUMENTS, BUT WHAT IS WOVEN INTO THE LIVES OF OTHERS."
Thank you for visiting Brian's website. Scroll down to learn more about events scheduled to remember Brian and to view a slide show of photos. WE HOPE YOU WILL TAKE A MOMENT TO "LIGHT A CANDLE" FOR BRIAN. This will let us know you have visited the site. After you light a candle, it will remain lit forever. It means so much to us, and we thank everyone who continues to show your support!
WE WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE YOU ADDING A "TRIBUTE" TO BRIAN, SHARING YOUR FUNNY STORIES AND/OR TREASURED MOMENTS. ALL WE HAVE LEFT IS MEMORIES, AND WE WILL CHERISH YOUR COMMENTS AND MEMORIES MORE THAN WORDS CAN EXPRESS.

Our thanks to those who participated in the BRIAN HOLOD MEMORIAL POKER RUN on October 7, 2006. After much prayer, decided it would be best not to do another poker run, and just appreciate the special gathering we had last year to dedicate Brian's Garden at SJWS.

2008 MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING AT SWEETBRIAR
The 3rd Annual Brian Holod Memorial Golf Outing was held at Sweetbriar Golf Club in Avon Lake on Friday, September 26, 2008. It was awesome! Participants in the scramble enjoyed playing at Sweetbriar's beautiful new "Legacy 18" course. We were blessed with a warm, beautiful, breezy fall day to enjoy each other's company. It was so nice to see many of Brian's friends and fellow doctors at the outing.
Thank you to everyone who supported this event in any way. To the individuals who participated in the scramble and those who joined us for dinner, we are so glad you were able to join us. I believe we had someone very special looking down on us at the event! I know that one of Heaven's Angel's had a big, beautiful smile as our little Jordyn sang a special song entitled "I Miss You" for her Uncle Brian.
